Ultimate Posture of kingdom worship
1 Thess 5: 12-25
-3 levels of relationship or expression of divine worship: leadership/ appreciate leaders, get along with one another & help others that need help.
-the eternal lifestyle of a true worshippers: cheerful, prayerful & thankful no matter what
-lack of cheerfulness, prayerfulness & thankfulness suppresses the spirit & sniffles the word in us & in others
-we must pray for spiritual leaders. When the shepherd is struck the sheep scatters. So we must intercede for leaders that God continue to sustain, increase and keep them
-when we are outside of the kingdom realm everything is strange & wrong. Don’t figure anything out outside of the kingdom. The first this is to be born again. Once in the kingdom realm we see rightly.
-the building formula of God is that He raises one man as a template who raises more templates and the kingdom progresses and expands that way. Devote time to be trained and mentored that way you can build others
7 postures of kingdom worship 1.Pure heart- Don’t think evil of others, repents easily & forgives easily. Purity gives way to a life & heart of brokenness. God uses your brokenness to break others. The Lord invades and dwells in a contrite heart Psalm 51: 17, Mt 5: 8
-please note that time doesn’t heal wounds or cleanse filth. What heals hurt is forgiveness while repentance cleanses filth via the Holy Ghost conviction
- Proactive obedience- This is when no one reminds you to obey. Luke 7: 47 he who is forgiven more loves more. Because Jesus has forgiven us he expects that we love others expressed through proactive obedience. For instance no one should remind others of checking on those who missed service today to see how they are doing
3.submission- to give orders we must take orders. Submission is to bow. The hallmark of worship is whom we bow to. Jesus bowed to the will of the father in a very difficult moment. Submission to God is adumbrated in submission to spiritual authority and spiritual leaders see Matt 8: 8-9
4.kingdom growth & vision- True worshippers are visionaries. They’re burdened with kingdom vision and assignments which are machineries for kingdom expansion. They’re intentional Acts 26: 16-25 shows how Paul was driven all his life by the heavenly vision. What is your kingdom assignment? What is your kingdom burden for the week?
- Kingdom worshippers grow others and inspire others 2 Tim 2: 2. They are for the kingdom. The don’t seek self but the prosperity of the kingdom. Mt 6: 33These are soulwinners as well Dan 12: 3
