What we Preach

The Kingdom Message

The kingdom message focuses on the finished work of Jesus Christ through his life, death, resurrection and ascension to glory and the indwelling of his power in and through us to manifest his rule on earth unto eternity (Acts 1:7-8)...It is the message of God's kingdom domain over the earth, our need to embrace the dominion agenda and to raise disciples therein.  That's all Jesus preached, and that's all we've got to preach (Mathew 4:17; 24:14).... The kingdom message is a response.... It’s a journey that starts with acknowledging Him as a king to discovering His mandate in our lives. Matthew 6:33; Matthew 4:17; Matthew 2:2

King

King in the kingdom of God there is a king, that King is Jesus. He is not a president so he wasn’t voted in but instead it’s a birthright. As King, He must be obeyed. Some people only see Him as the Lord and not also as a king. As God’s head, He is King because He has all powers. As Messiah, He is Lord because He has delegated power.  1 Timothy 6:15. Jesus is King, He is a king who likes intimacy.

Intimacy

This kingdom journey requires intimate relationship with Jesus. We have to hear from Him and continue to grow in relationship with Him. He is a King that likes intimacy. John 15: 1-10. It’s like being married or having a close relationship, you would want to constantly hear from that person and be with that person. Jesus wants us to constantly be in His presence

New Birth

when you enter into this kingdom you enter as a child, Matthew 18:3. It doesn’t matter how old you are physically, when you enter into this kingdom you become a new birth like a newborn baby. You don’t know anything and must be committed to learn. Everything that you once knew you have to leave behind. For example, if you used to be really shy and you enter into this kingdom you give up shyness and receive boldness. In order to do what He has called you to do you have to enter as a child and leave old ways behind you 2 Corinthians 5: 17 and be ready to grow in Him

Growth

– you can’t remain a baby forever but must eventually grow. Hebrews 5:12-14, Hebrews 6:1, To be fruitful as God has called you, it starts with growth. A baby doesn’t remain a baby forever but eventually they growth. As a kingdom citizen you must also grow spiritually. Growth comes by reading the word of God, prayer and having constant fellowship. Growth can be uncomfortable which is how you know you are doing the will of God because you have to rely on God’s grace. It’s like exercising; when your muscles begin to burn that’s when you push harder because that is how you will see results. Growth leads to fruitfulness. 1 Peter 2: 2, John 15: 5

Dominion

Genesis 1:26-28. As you are growing you will begin to function in the dominion that God has given to us. There are 4 doors to dominion; fruitfulness, multiply, replenish and subdue. The most important is multiplication, 2 Timothy 2:2. The attack is on our multiplication. Multiplication is discipleship; which you need the power of God for – Acts 1:8.  The purpose of prayer is to disciple. If God has given you the grace to teach, the attack is to make sure you don’t multiply and raise other teachers or be able to teach more than one person because the more you disciple or raise, the more God’s kingdom begins to expand.

Obedience

This requires humility and submission. You can’t have dominion without obedience. If your own obedience is not complete you cannot command obedience. 2 Corinthians 10:6 The root of obedience is love, so the root of disobedience is hate. John 14:15. Due to Adam’s sin we are born disobedient and disobedience is equivalent to witchcraft. It’s only by the Holy Spirit through faith that we can be obedient.

Mandate

God’s date with man is mandate. God has given everyone a mandate to fulfill. Jesus’ mandate was to die and resurrect. A mandate is an assignment or task given to us for us to fulfill. You must discover God’s mandate in your life and fulfill it by continually aligning to His instructions. Matthew 26:16-18, Acts 22:12-14
